COVID-19 Information for clients

We wish to advise our policy moving forward to protect both our clients and practitioners and allow us to continue to deliver services to meet the needs of Launceston and the surrounding community.

TERMS OF SERVICE at The Blue Door:

  • Our preference is that you attend your appointment alone or as a couple if attending couple counselling. A maximum of one support person/carer/parent may attend if required. As much as possible, please organise alternative care for infants and children so we can limit unnecessary contact.
  • We encourage clients to remain in their car if they arrive more than 10 minutes early for their appointment.
  • Check in is mandatory via the Check In Tas app.
  • We encourage all clients and practitioners to practice good cough etiquette and hand hygiene.
  • Clients will not be required to be COVID vaccinated unless otherwise advised by the Tasmanian government .
  • Surgical masks may be worn when attending and must be when mandated.
  • We request that you enter through the back door of the building (car park end) and exit through the front door, if possible. If you need to leave by the back door, your counsellor will escort you.
We appreciate your support to help us remain open and provide much needed services to the community. Please talk with us about any concerns you may have regarding management of the virus

Warm regards and special thanks,
The Blue Door community
